Katherine A. Coba, Esq.
Katherine Coba is the Owner, Managing Attorney at Coba Law and has practiced law in South Florida since 2012.
She regularly represents individuals and businesses in state and federal courts, including at the appellate level, with a practice focused on complex commercial litigation, trust and estate planning and litigation, family law, and entertainment law.
Katherine also represents insurance companies in coverage disputes and counsels carriers in bad faith and extra-contractual claims and litigation.
Representative Experience
Represented successor trustee and five living beneficiaries at trial and appellate levels in a trust modification matter involving preservation of historically significant homestead property in perpetuity. Obtained favorable final judgment, affirmed by the Third District Court of Appeal of Florida. Reno v. Hurchalla, No. 3D18-2325, 2019 WL 3938297 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. Aug. 21, 2019).
Represented appellants in a successful appeal regarding enforcement of a land trust arbitration provision, where an adverse trial court order was reversed by the Fourth District Court of Appeal of Florida. Iglehart v. Mitbank USA, Inc., 4D19-86, 2019 WL 6164242 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. Nov. 20, 2019).
